She refused to answer and asked us to leave. I asked her why none of my suggestions would work when their dining rooms were empty. She had not asked what was happening, or why my daughter said what she did. At this point, the manager (Sandy) asked us to leave “because of our language”. My daughter called her out and told her not to 💩-talk her mom. I asked about a manager and was told it didn’t matter, she would not seat an incomplete party.Īt this point, Christy walked away and my daughter overheard her call me an explicative. Again, I completely understand the concept of seating incomplete parties when busy however, the dining rooms were near empty. I was told that they could not seat incomplete parties. I asked if the four of us could be seated snd order, then allow the other two to order when they arrived. Once again, the three dining rooms were all but empty. At that point, she made us get up and leave the dining room to wait for the other two.
She seated us and then asked about the other two. The hostess (Christy) acknowledged our party of six, and that only four were present. When we arrived at the location, the first four were present, the other two were 10 minutes behind. Four were in one car, two were in another. fairly large parties (6) showing up right before close. Living in a beach town that draws tourists by the droves, we are sensitive to. We chose this location because we got a late start and they did not close until 1pm.
